WebOps Mobile to showcase new Enterprise and Personal Editions at American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons 2007 Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA February 14-18, 2007

ATLANTA — February 10, 2007 — WebOps Mobile, a technology innovator in the medical device case management and digital templating, today announced that it will be launching its new Personal Edition of its WebOps Mobile software. Designed with the individual/independent sales representative in mind, WebOps Mobile Personal Edition provides reps with the tools to schedule, track, template, and report on their own cases.

The primary users of WebOps Mobile are medical device manufacturers and their distribution affiliates or independent medical device distribution companies in need of a streamlined, enterprise view of surgeries (cases), available inventory, and past utilization information for a specific hospital, group of hospital, region, or manufacturer. For these users, WebOps Mobile is a key enabling technology that includes all kitting and consignment functionality, case status, lot/item traceability, surgeon preferences, and reporting functionality accessible either via a web browser or handheld device. Unlike whiteboards or paper-based systems, WebOps Mobile can display a daily/weekly, monthly view of all cases at a local, regional, or national level by procedure type, customer, or distribution location. WebOps Mobile monitors cases as they progress through their life cycle, from the initial posting process through digital templating, assembly and dispatch and, finally, usage reporting and kit check-in with detailed history of add-on information, utilization, sales by rep, and freight usage.

PERSONAL EDITION

WebOps Mobile Personal Edition includes both internet-based scheduling software and a handheld software client that allows complete visibility over the details of one’s individual cases. The clear, color coded interface helps you keep track of all upcoming cases with a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule, allows you to record notes for each case and to keep track of the inventory both requested and used.

Additionally, WebOps Mobile Personal Edition provides a sales representative with a handheld/web interface to capture x-ray images through his Treo or Windows Mobile handheld device and, upload them through the WebOps portal application, and they provide robust templating functionality from their home or office PC.
